The Inishowen Gathering Committee are pleased to confirm that the popular 3 day celebration of our environment and heritage held last summer on the Isle of Doagh will take place this year at Caratra, Culdaff, Inishowen on July 21st, 22nd & 23rd.
We are hoping to continue the event in future years at different venues around the peninsula to encompass the diversity and beauty of our unique landscape.

In order to make the event successful we are keen to provide a varied programme of environmental and traditional interests. We would like to hear from local craftspeople, entertainers and artists, also anyone who would be interested in facilitating a workshop or giving a talk or demonstration particularly with an emphasis on local culture & history, conservation, sustainability, renewable energy, recycling etc.
This event is family orientated and we hope to provide plenty of activities for children so if you have a skill in this area we would like to hear from you. Expression of interest forms will shortly be available at various local outlets for all who wish to take part. If you would like to have one sent to you, please email your postal address to us.

We will also be looking for volunteers to help with some of the site construction during the weeks leading up to the event, this could involve erecting marquees and structures of natural materials such as willow domes etc which will house the workshops and activities.
Other areas in which volunteers are needed will include site security, cooking and general help.
If you would like to help make the Inishowen Summer Gathering another fun-filled success this year please contact: Mary on 0863273315 or email inishgathering@eircom.net , or any committee member.
